The firm was originally founded as Charles Morgan & Associates in November 2011 by principal Charles Morgan in Myrtleford. With decades of legal expertise, Charles has lived and worked in North East Victoria since 1994, providing dedicated legal services to the region.
As the firm expanded, we established a Wangaratta office in 2013 and have maintained a weekly presence in Wodonga since 2011. Additionally, we offer client consultations in Melbourne, where our office is conveniently located near the courts.
On 1 January 2018, Wendy Couzens became a principal of the firm, marking a significant milestone in its growth. This transition led to the rebranding of Charles Morgan & Associates to Morgan Couzens Legal, reflecting its evolving leadership and continued commitment to excellence.
In 2024, Sather Legal Pty Ltd acquired Morgan Couzens Legal and now operates the firm alongside Charles Morgan and Wendy Couzens. While integrating additional resources and expertise, we continue to uphold the firm's strong reputation and legacy under the Morgan Couzens Legal brand.
